Charles-Auguste Bontemps (1893 Nievre-1981 )was a french individualist anarchist, pacifist, freethinker-atheist and naturist writer and activist. He wrote alongside the anarcho-communist Maurice Joyeux the founding principles of the
Federation Anarchiste. Among the publications in which he wrote include Le Monde libertaire, Liberté, Le Droit de vivre, La Raison, Le Réfractaire. He defended what he called "social individualism" and "a collectivism of things and an individualism of persons".
